MINUTES
ANNUAL BANQUET & GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
SATURDAY, APRIL 3, 2004
PENN STATE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
GREATER JACKSONVILLE CHAPTER

PRESENT: Bill Dusack, President, Josiah Pritchard, Vice President, Danielle Howard, Secretary, Richard Holtz, Athletic Events Chair, Jim Schultz, Volunteer Chair, and Jodie Davis, Social Chair.

ABSENT: Bob Streightiff, Treasurer, and Judie Crabb, Ad Hoc Member.

The Annual Banquet at the Hilltop in Orange Park began at 6:00 PM with a cocktail hour followed by a buffet dinner. 39 chapter members (42 had paid reservations) were in attendance.

The general membership meeting was called to order at 8:30 PM by Bill Dusack, President.

Bill began by thanking our guest speaker, Drew Jackson, PSU alumni and local Channel 4 weatherman. Bill went on to give an overview of the chapter's events and accomplishments over the last year. He recognized the current slate of officers and chairs for the chapter. 

Jerry Rademan, on behalf of Howard Weisz, nominating committee chair, presented a slate of nominations for new officers for the July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2006 term:

President - Josiah Pritchard
Vice President - Jodie Davis
Treasurer - Bob Streightiff
Secretary - Danielle Howard

There were no other nominations from the floor. The slate of nominees was elected unanimously by the members present.

A special presentation of the first "President's Distinguished Member Award" was given to Rich Holtz in recognition of his services to the chapter, his community and his church.

Door prizes were also awarded.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 10:00 PM.
